Airport Postcards
A Colorful View Into the Past
Airport postcards became immensely popular. The colorfully depicted terminal images even caught the fancy of spectators who would drive to an airport just to look around and send postcards depicting it to all their friends and relations.
Today, these same postcards provide a valuable and accurate reference for seeing how the early airfields really looked. In many cases, they are the only visual clues as to the appearance of now lost and forgotten airfields and airports.
The following pages are filled with scanned images of these postcards. At this point there is no order to the pages. Images of the same airport are, however, kept together on the same page.
